Today I just want to rant. I really wish Naughty Dawg would release information about rather or not they are working on a new Jax and Daxter video game. Is is a game? When will it come out? I know I will probably have to at least wait until E3 but I really don't want to. At least I have only two more months to wait until Resident Evil 5 and God of War III comes out. I ready to play those games. Hopefully, they will live up to my expectations. As long as they aren't bad I will be good.

I got to watch a great game yesterday. It was the Mavericks against the Utah Jazz. For some reason, the games between these two are always good. It was even better that the Mavs won and broke a four game losing streak. It really surprised me when I heard about the two new players the Mavericks traded for. I didn't even know they had traded anyone because I have been sick and have not been near a computer in over a week. Hopefully this trade will be a good one. I really liked when they got Jason Kidd. I love how he plays. I know there are rumors that another trade might be in the making. That makes me wonder though. Who would they trade for and what would they give up? I am not an expert on stats or anything like that. I am sure if there is another trade that it will be because the player or players might help the Mavericks be a better team.

My friend's son got a Wii for Christmas. I do believe he got 5 games with it. There are two he plays a lot, Mario Cart and Wii Sports. He only has one wheel so I haven't played the Mario Cart yet. Anyway I have played Wii Sports. It is an okay game system.

I don't know if it is just me or what but playing the Wii makes my shoulder hurt. I didn't even play it that long. I played it maybe thirty minutes. We played bowling, golf and baseball. It is a great game system for a family but not if you have a bum shoulder.

He also has a game called Carnival Games or something like that. That might not be the exact title. Anyway some of those games are really hard. Especially the ones that you have to shake the controller and then aim. He has yet to get the hang of the water gun game. You know the one where you shoot water in the clowns mouth. Then there is the strong man game. I did that for him a few times. I only managed to ring the bell once. He loves his Wii though. Since he can't really sit still when playing games it is good that you have to be standing when playing most of the games.

I was checking out upcoming game releases. I saw that Fear 2 will be coming out soon. I read the description and was like this sounds like a good game. That was until I saw that it was a first person shooter. If you don't know I really don't like first person games. They give me a headache. I would really want to play this game if it wasn't for the fact that it was first person.

I can't wait until March comes around. If they haven't changed dates on me that is when Resident Evil 5 and God of War 3 comes out. In the mean time I will have to find other games to amuse myself with.

I have been playing HotShots Golf: Out of Bounds. Let me tell you this game is my favorite in the series. I like how you have to win the chance to play to win the other players. I also like that most of the time you can chose which type of hitting you want to do, the traditional or advanced type. I like the advanced although it did take me awhile to get used to it. For me it seems it is more easier to slice the ball in the advanced. However, the character does seem to hit father if you use the advanced. As for putting, I am not very good in either mode. Sometimes I get lucky and get it right. What usually messes me up is how much to move when the ball will role right or left. I do get lucky sometimes and chip in a long birdie. I have never made a hole in one in any of the games that I played. I am not one of those people who have to have a birdie at every hole I play. As long as I win, it doesn't matter. The only thing I wish I could do is create my own character. It think that would be cool.

OMG. I hope that I am not the only one in saying that last nights Mavericks game was one of the best ever. Even though they got down by 29 points I was like they could still come back there is plenty of time left. When they went on that run in the early third quarter, I could hardly sit still. My niece says I am too loud and that I should not yell at the tv. I just tell her to be quite. I can't be quite especially when the game is good or I don't like the call. I will admit that the Mavs didn't play well in the first half. They stepped it up though and ended up winning. I was so happy.

I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating the New Year tonight. Let me say again that I am sorry I have not posted more frequently. My family is here so to spend more time with them I cut the computer out of my routine. Talk to you in 2009. Be safe.

I had a great Christmas I hope you did too. If you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you had a good holiday with your family. The only game news I have for you today is that I am playing Heavenly Sword. It is a good game. Although I do have problems controlling the arrow when you use the movements of the controller. I actually think this is cool but frustrating. I will have to buy this game. To tell you the truth I didn't think I would actually like it so much. Hopefully I will get to post before New Year but if I don't I hope you have a Happy New Year.
